I’m definitely for it.  My biggest problem is those who claim to be against marriage equality because it “violates the sanctity of marriage.” No. Gay marriage is not going to be a threat to traditional marriage. Do you know what is a threat to traditional marriage? Divorce, domestic abuse, and infidelity. Before you start denying people the ability to get married, you should get your own house in order. Solve those three issues and then you can tell me how allowing homosexuals to marry one another will ruin the traditional marriage. Because the way I see it, those three things are much more hurtful than gay marriage ever can be.   If the “sacred” way of marriage is not working out in our society without meaningful attempts at reforming it, then all I see is hypocrisy and ignorance in trying to deny others what you have because it would “ruin” your marriage. 

I completely understand that everyone has different beliefs but the simple act of logical reasoning is all that is necessary in order to move forward and achieve equality for homosexuals.
